We have been working directly with Universities, Students’ Unions, Athletic Unions, Halls of Residences committee’s and individual student groups for over 10 years. At Outgoing we value the health and safety of all our customers and participants at our events. As travel and event specialists we have encountered many scenarios during our time both home and abroad. These events range from our 5,000 capacity ski festival in Austria to our 12,000 capacity student event, Summer Break in Newquay.  Our safety record speaks for itself and with our high customer satisfaction rates and return customers year upon year we can guarantee your group a safe journey with our knowledge and experience. What we offer does not just finish with the health and safety aspect of the trip. We also assure you money with us is protected and safe with Outgoing a certified member of both ABTA and ATOL.

HEALTH & SAFETY

As travel and event professionals, we have a wealth of expertise in events from a medical and customer safety perspective. We work with a team of qualified Safety Officers who work with us on all our events keeping customer safety as a primary concern. For all our events we draw up the appropriate safety plans and risk assessments in meticulous detail as well as training all our staff and reps,
compromising on safety is simply not an option for Outgoing. Our reputation of running safe, responsible and organised events is why are the number one student operator in the UK.

RISK ASSESSMENTS

All of our events and holidays are risk assessed from start to finish. We cover everything from coaches, ferries, hotels, apartments, hostels, activities in resort and the event itself. Copies of risk assessments are available for Universities/Students’ Union use as an additional back up to any compulsory activity/trip forms. We can also build into the trip Next of Kin details and student ID numbers to offer you piece of mind and assuring you have up to date information about your students on the event or trip. 

Suppliers Safety
Every supplier we use whether it is in the UK or abroad has to comply with over vigorous safety checks. These suppliers have to provide us with evidence that their vehicles, machinery, accommodation or facility meets our and the industry standard. If they do not meet our guidelines then they will not be used.

INSURANCE

We offer a range of insurance covers to suit all aspects of the events and holidays we run. These cover’s range from adventure and extreme sports cover for Snowboarding and Surfing to basic cover for a weekend in Amsterdam. Our insurance cover is not compulsory. However if a student chooses not to get cover with us they will have to sign to say so upon booking and that they will sort out their own insurance policy for the event/trip.

ABTA

Outgoing is a member of ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) which is dedicated to raising standards of quality, safety, service and financial security. As a result students traveling with Outgoing you do not have to worry as they are protected financially by our ABTA bond.
