It’s one of the best places to experience both traditional and contemporary live music – often free in traditional pubs and bars. There are also plenty of fabulous restaurants; from laid-back fish bars to hip eateries. Add its rich history, colourful culture and stories on every street corner and there is sure to be plenty to keep you occupied. This beautiful Irish city is tantalisingly close to the coast and mountains, where stunning scenery provides the perfect backdrop if you fancy hiking, biking or simply enjoying the view.
