1. Can I take my children on an Outgoing Ski holiday?
Our self catering holidays are suitable for people of all ages. There are no age restrictions
however please remember that coach travel may not be suitable for very young children.
Please consider the comfort of other passengers and if you think your child will be
unsettled throughout the journey and cause a disturbance then it may not be the right
type of holiday for you.
If you are interested in an all inclusive holiday package there are age restrictions to
consider. These packages are specifically for the 18 – 39 age group so if you do not fall
within this age bracket unfortunately this package will not be suitable for you. If you
are just over or under the age bracket please call the Outgoing Ski office as we may be
able to make an exception on this.
2. Will my group have their own accommodation or do I have to share?
Self Catering
When you take a self catering holiday the apartment sizes are specific.
We sell 4 berth apartments, however if you have a special request for a larger sized apartment we
may be able to accommodate this request.
When you book an apartment you have to take the whole apartment, whether your group is 4
or less than this. Our prices for self catering holidays are based on full capacity of
an apartment so you will be charged for 4 beds.
All Inclusive
When you take an all inclusive option the rooming is slightly different. Within the residences
room sizes are generally between 4 – 6 berth (occasionally we have twin rooms or slightly
larger rooms). Rooms will be allocated for groups when they book, in the instance that you
have a large or small group that doesn’t fit exactly into the room there is no option to pay
a supplement. We will endeavour to keep your group together in a similar room size, however
in some instances you will have to share.
3. I am interested in just taking coach travel only, is this possible?
At Outgoing Ski our first priority is providing travel for those who take the full package,
however on most weeks we have a few spare coach seats which are available for people to book.
If you are interested in taking coach travel only please call Snow Express to check availability,
the price of return travel starts from £60.
4. I am interested in making my own travel arrangements is it possible to get a package without coach travel?
Yes, we now have an online service where you can book packages without travel.
Each week of the season we have apartments available in Tignes to book and we also have a variety
of other all inclusive destinations available. You simply arrange your preferred travel eg fly drive,
self drive or train and you can book every other option through us.

5. I would like to go away for 2 weeks instead of 1 is this possible?
If you would like to do this it is possible on the self catering package, you simply book your accommodation
for the required weeks and either arrange your own travel or inform us of the dates you would like your
coach reservation made for.
For all inclusive packages you will need to put in a request with us in order for us to check if this is possible on your requested weeks.
6. I am interested in taking an all inclusive holiday option but I have my own equipment and/or do not want to take lessons, will I get a discount?
There are no discounts offered on the all inclusive package if there are certain elements
that you do not need or do not want. The package comes as a whole, if you do not want to
take lessons or use the equipment provided you do not have to but there will be no discount.
7. Are my details secure?
Yes! Once you have chosen your holiday and given us your personal details, you are transported to our payment
providers secure servers so that your credit or debit card details can be taken in an encrpyted environment. On most
browsers an icon will appear in the bottom right of your browser window indicating a secure session is taking place
- you can also verify this by looking at the address of the webpage in the URL - it begins with https:// which denotes
a secure session.
All transactions are handled by third parties authorised to do so who employ industry standard 128-bit encryption
technology to ensure your sensitive data cannot be intercepted by anyone when it is transported over the internet.
We use Barclaycard Merchant Services' ePDQ system to
process our online transactions so you can be sure that your information is safe and secure.
All clients monies are held within the Travel Services Trust Account which provides total security for all prepayments.
The account is placed with Barclays Bank, and administered by the Trustees of Travel Services (Harbour Point,
Torquay, Devon), your monies are held in the account until the completion of your holiday. The Trust Account
complies with the Department of Trade and Industry’s ‘Package Travel Regulations’ clause 20. By LAW,
monies are only transferable to Outgoing Ltd, once you have completed your holiday.
8. Who will see my details?
Your details will only be used for activities necessary to confirm the booking and completion of your holiday.
We will not pass on your details to any third parties unless this is required in the normal day to day business
of carrying out your holiday. For example suppliers of travel or accommodation will need lists of passenger names
and check in dates etc.
Your transacation deatils are only transported to a Bank to authorise your puchase and this is done in an
encrypted environemnt (see FAQ item 7). We guarantee we will never:
- Pass on your financial details
- Pass on any personal information gathered when you place an order
- Sell or rent your details, you will never receive junk mail as a result of using our site
- Leave invasive technologies such as cookies on your machine without giving you the option first and only
where this is necessary for the successful operation of the site (eg for logging in to view your booking)
- Exploit your details in any way
