Ski & Boarding

Forget the slightly dodgy buildings: the main reason to go to Les Menuires is the snow-sure guarantee this confident resort offers, with pistes topping out at 2850m and a comprehensive snowmaking system. Then there is the terrain; the Menuires / Saint Martin ski area which is made up of 3 complementary sectors.

Beginner

Look forward to around 100 runs, which by the end of the week, you should be capable of navigating confidently! Les Menuires has done more than most European resorts to make a special effort for adult beginners, following the North American model of creating a 'beginners village'.

Intermediate

A choice of over 150 suitable runs! With access to Trois Vallees, Les Menuires has to be the choice of resort for intermediates. It offers such a vast choice of appropriate skiing, from the easier cruising runs to some which are more challenging but still within the scope of intermediates.

Advanced

As well as the wide cruising skiing there is some very challenging skiing for advanced skiers & boarders in Les Menuire.

Freestyle & Snowboarding

High-mountain hangout and crossroads of the freestyle universe Installed in the Plateau sector, this 88000 m2 area has 5 zones (beginners, intermediates, experts, boardercross and Jump Air). There are different fun elements: whoops, wall ride, a table top, hand rails.

Glacier

The highest skiable peaks are Pointe du Bouchet (3220m) and Cime de Caron (3200m), with one of the biggest cable cars in the world with a capacity of 150+1 passengers. Many of its slopes face north/north-west, providing for good snow conditions. This means that the slopes are not as sunny, so the resort tends to attract a crowd more interested in skiing than "terracing". However, the resort itself faces south, and many people enjoy sitting outside in the sunshine when they have finished skiing.

Apres Ski

We know that a tailored après ski is a fundamental part of your group holiday (indeed for some the ‘après’ is as important as the ‘ski’!) and so we’ll work with you to create the ideal party programme for your group – making the most of Les Menuires – an often overlooked gem of a resort which isn't internationally renowned for its evening entertainment, but there's more than ample to suit all but the most hardcore party animal.

One of the things that we do really well is throw a party in the mountains (Snowbombing & Winter Break are Outgoing events)! Talk to us about what your group is after... as we have the relationships and contacts with many major acts and agencies. So whether it is a live band, DJ or clubnight your group are after - we have no probelm arranging this in an excluisve venue.

Valley Rally

The Valley Rally is no doubt a student ski institution and one of the best days of your tour and one of the funnest and funniest days on the slopes for your group. Outgoing has run plenty of them over the years - so be prepared for lots of stupidity + a range of ridiculous challanges at the checkpoints all around the mountain!

Meal on the Mountain

We understand that the 'Meal on the Mountain' is a really important part of your groups holiday... it's one the best opportunities to get your whole group together for one HUGE party.

Group Race Day

For some universities racing is a very important aspect, while for others it is more about having a laugh... Whatever your motiivations Outgoing can organise this for you... It will always be with run professionally with experienced staff (traditionally we do this in conjenction with the resort ski school)

Self Catering Package

Outgoing Ski have been successfully providing self catering ski and board holidays since all-in-ones and fluro ski clothing were cool first time around! We specialise in taking large student groups away with us, and the flexibility of self catering has made it one of our most favoured holiday options.

Coach Travel

Outgoing provide coach pick ups directly from your university! From the UK coaches will typically take around 18-20 hours. All coaches are fitted with DVD players, toilets, reclining seats and air conditioning as standard for your comfort.

Staff & Reps

We have a large team of in house staff with backgrounds that include Event Management, Travel, Logistics, Production, Marketing, Sponsorship, Branding. We also undersrtand that Reps (& event managers) are one of the key factors to the success of your trip and for that reason we invest heavily in training.

Group Promotion

We take over 50,000 students away every year - and as a result we are experts in student marketing. We can help you build on what uyou are doing to market your trip and integrate a number of our sales and promo techniques to help market your trip and achieve your groups goals.

Booking System

Outgoing has an incredible advanved group booking system that makes it incredibly easy for the committee and mebers booking on.

Tuition

Our tuition option offers lessons for all standards from the complete beginner to the more advanced. We have contracts with the best ski schools - all instructors are uber friendly, and all speak English. Pre booking lessons is essential as it will offer a big saving on the in resort price.

Equipment Hire

Outgoing work with Ski Set, the number 1 independent French and Austrian mountain sport shop. We can therefore offer a wide choice of quality equipment with a large saving on the usual in-resort hire prices. We also benefit from a wide choice of shop locations, enabling us to choose the shop most convenient for your accommodation.

Winter sports insurance

It is essential that all passengers travelling with Outgoing have appropriate winter insurance cover. Outgoing can provide insurance policies on a number of different levels offering you comprehensive cover regardless of your groups budget. The policy is underwritten by Accident & General and provides an excellent 24 hour service via Europ Assistance. It's really better to be safe than sorry!

Merchandise

Ski & Snowboard club merchadise is essential if you want to stand out and build the club brand. We can help produce T-Shirts, Hoods, Crews, Polos - whatever you want basically! We can also sell and promote the merchandise online and at time of booking - we will make sure tat they are all distributed before you go away. Meal Options

Whether you want a bespoke group meal in a local restaurant or daily evening meal option... we can arrange this for you. We will make sure that your entire group eats in one sitting, tailor meals to suit the groups budget and have the option of selling this online at time of booking.

Flights

Outgoing are unique in offering flights home... allowing your group to take advantage of some of the low cost carriers flying into resort. Talk to us about this option as it may not cost as much as you think and you could offer it as an option for your members....
