Make life a beach.

This is a city that you’ll never tire of visiting. It’s a great place to tour from the vantage point of an open-top bus, but its centre is also easy enough to see on foot. If you’re into strolling, there are plenty of gastronomic options en-route to fortify your journey of discovery. Barcelona is home to some of the world’s most impressive buildings and parks; the Parc de la Ciutadella, the Parc de Joan Miró and Parc Guell are just a few. It’s a cosmopolitan city that’s brimming with colour and life – plus there’s the amazing beach on which to unwind, relax and sample some spectacular seafood and sangria. When the sun goes down, Barcelona's reputation as a stylish party city is well deserved, with a wide selection of nightclubs and bars to keep you dancing ‘til dawn.

The Plan

    • 1. Evening

Work is done for the week and now the real fun begins. Grab your bag, print your e-ticket and make sure you've got your passport on you because here we go! Make sure you get to the departure point (on your e-ticket) at least half an hour early and meet our expert staff who will check you and your group on to the coach before setting off. To make the journey fly-by we recommend bringing along some of your favourite DVDs, your comfiest pillow and maybe a blanket too. Stops will be made along the way; but whilst you're travelling you might as well make the most of it!

    • 2. Morning

With this sunny destination being settled south of the Pyrenees, it takes a little longer to get to than most of our resorts. Our drivers however will make sure there are plenty of frequent stops along the way; ensuring your can get some desayuno before you arrive.

    • 2. Afternoon

Bienvenido a Barcelona. The Catalan capital. This city is famed for it's unique architecture, chilled out Mediterrenean vibes and it's abundance of tapas bars. Our Outgoing staff will check you in to the accommodation upon arrival, then after you've freshened up the afternoon is yours to explore the city.

    • 2. Evening

Our favourite way to reintroduce ourselves into the city is by taking an evening Tapas tour. The tapas tour leaves the accommodation mid-afternoon; so shortly after you've freshened up you have the chance to get a guided tour of the surrounding areas PLUS some local food.

    • 3. Morning

Buenas dias.. Waking up to the sun on your first morning in Spain's largest coastal city is worth the journey. A simple, yet tasty and quick breakfast option (if you don't want to eat in the accommodation) is to try Pan con Tomate. A special tomato spread over a toasted baguette with some freshly squeezed orange juice - yum.

    • 3. Afternoon

One way to kick off your sightseeing journey would be to head to the holy grail of landmarks in Barcelona: La Sagrada Familia, built by Gaudi himself. It's located in the central part of the city, just to the north and has it's own Metro stop 'Sagrada Familia' for when you're ready to pay a visit.

    • 3. Evening

We hope you've had an exciting day, adventuring around Barcelona… You'll want to make sure you're back in time however as the penultimate night of the tour means one thing; bar crawl!

    • 4. Morning

For your third day in Barcelona, if you havent' got anything planned, join us as we head over the Camp Nou. Home of Barcelona FC. This is one of the worlds most toured football stadiums and is home to one of the most decorated sports clubs in history.

    • 4. Afternoon

For the evening of your first full day in Barcelona, if you don't want to roam the city by yourself or grab a few canas by the beach; we offer a City Sightseeing tour by coach. This will leave the accommodation around 5pm; so listen out to your Rep for confirmation of the times...

    • 4. Evening

Our reps love working the trips to Barcelona because on the final night, after eating at the best beach-side restaurant, the popular Outgoing Botellon takes place! You'll have to ask the Reps about this… it's a long-held tradition for our Barca trips!

    • 5. Morning

It's time to get checked-out! Make sure you have gathered all your belongings and have your passport in your hand-luggage as it will be checked at customs. Hand your keys in to the Outgoing rep that will be downstairs in the reception area and then make your way to the pick-up point.
